A long-time customer approached us a few years ago asking why there weren't any good tools for children or seniors. We couldn't think of a good answer, but we did think of a good response: We designed super lightweight tools that would still last a lifetime. What we ended up with was great for kids, but equally great for raised bed gardening, and equally great for people with limited upper body strength, such as seniors. We love these tools and don't use much of anything else in our raised beds. The patented shape of the Mini-Digger blade takes a small bite of earth with an absolute minimum of effort. Everyone loves the Mini version of the GroundHog rake. We find that it's perfect for raised bed gardening and kids. Lighter weight and smaller than a full-sized hoe, the Mini-Hoe is every bit as durable and probably quite a lot more useful in a raised bed.
